What is a Qualified Electronic Certificate?
A qualified electronic certificate is a digital document issued by an accredited certification authority that allows you to sign documents electronically with the same legal validity as a handwritten signature. In Serbia, it is issued on a USB token — a small device you plug into your computer.
USB Token
Your certificate is stored on a physical USB token device, delivered directly to your address anywhere in the world.
When do you need it?
- Signing company founding documents for APR registration
- Submitting visa and residence permit applications on your behalf
- Signing contracts and official documents electronically
- Accessing Serbian government portals and services
- Accessing e-banking services for your Serbian business account (required by some banks)
What's included in our service
- Procurement of your qualified electronic certificate from an accredited Serbian certification authority
- USB token with certificate — delivered to your address worldwide
- Setup instructions included
- Our service fee includes all government and certification charges
💡 The qualified electronic certificate is also required for the Beneficial Owners Registry — mandatory within 15 days of company registration. If you are registering a company, we recommend obtaining your certificate at the same time.
